Terms of use

These terms apply when you use the KarrotsKode website and the services we offer through it. They are provided by Nicolas David Klein Godoy, trading as KarrotsKode (ABN 39 468 600 812).

The service

KarrotsKode helps small businesses build a website. There are three options: Ready-made (a finished design for your industry, with your words, logo and photos), Custom AI (a site composed from your description, reviewed and approved by you), and Online stores (a store that opens first to a small group of pilot businesses).

Prices

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and exclude GST. GST is added where it applies.

• Ready-made: from A$39 per month + GST, no setup fee.
• Custom AI: from A$499 setup + A$49 per month + GST.
• Online stores: from A$999 setup + A$99 per month + GST.

Setup fees are charged once. Monthly fees cover hosting, HTTPS and keeping the platform up to date. These are launch prices. We give at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change takes effect.

Cancelling and refunds

No lock-in. Cancel anytime. There are no lock-in contracts. You can cancel your plan at any time.

Monthly plans are charged month by month. If you cancel, the cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for. We do not refund part of the current month.

The Custom AI setup fee is not refundable once your site has been delivered.

Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Example sites

The example sites shown on this website are for fictional businesses. They exist to show what the designs can look like. They are not real businesses, and any resemblance to a real business is coincidental.

Your content

You keep ownership of the words, logo and photos you give us. You confirm that you have the right to use them and to let us use them to build your site.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for anything unlawful, or to publish content that infringes someone else’s rights.

Availability

We work to keep the website and the service running, but we do not promise they will always be available without interruption.

Consumer guarantees and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or right under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, we limit it to the extent permitted.

Privacy

How we handle your personal information is set out in our privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
