Website design for plumbers, electricians and builders
A customer on a phone wants three things from a trade website: whether you cover their suburb, a number to call, and some proof the work is real. These designs put those first.
What your customers look for
- They check that you work in their suburb before they read anything else.
- They look for a number to call or a quote form they can fill in with one thumb.
- They want to see finished jobs, a licence and cover details before they book.
How the design is built for this trade
- 01Your number first
The top of the page carries a call button and your service areas, where a customer on a phone sees them without scrolling.
- 02Jobs in plain words
One block for each job you take on, such as hot water, switchboards or extensions, written the way customers describe them.
- 03Areas you cover
A list of suburbs or regions, so people know straight away whether you travel to them.
- 04Finished work
A gallery for your own photos of completed jobs. Without photos the section stays out, instead of stock images passed off as yours.
- 05Licence and cover
A place for the licence number and insurance details you supply, because customers often check before they book.
Designs to start from
Each one is a finished site for a made-up business. Open it, scroll through it and see how it would look with your name on it.
What you bring
- The jobs you take on and the areas you cover
- Your phone number and working hours
- Your licence number and insurance details, if you want them shown
- Photos of jobs you have finished

Questions people ask
Can customers ask for a quote from the page?
Yes. The contact form sends the enquiry to your email, and the call button opens the phone app on a mobile.
I only have a few photos of my work. Is that a problem?
No. Sections that need photos are left out until you have them. Nothing is filled with made-up jobs.
Do I need a separate site for each kind of job I do?
No. One site can list every job you do, each with its own block and its own enquiry button.
